MRS. TAKATA

I never write about reiki. I think about it, talk about it, live about it. I learned levels 1 and 2 of reiki in less than 6 months and a year later i got granted with the Master in Reiki. I am not a healer, I am just a vessel. But being a vessel is a blessing in many ways.

This weekend I have been reading the biography of Mrs Takata the wonderful teacher who brought Reiki from Japan to America. One would think that a person who lived reiki for almost 50 years would live such a spiritual life that would never feel anger -as the Reiki lesson says: just for today do not anger- but she did get angry sometimes. Her biographer says: “She had a healthy temper and at times would display it, but these times were few and involved only extreme conditions. When this did occur, she immediately responded, saying what needed to be said, doing what needed to be done to clear the air and restore balance. Her way was to take care of it today and not carry such energy over to the morrow”.

I have been wrong in many ways, yes, I know, but this could be my worst mistake. Either I responded badly or didn’t. I guess there is a better way. The way of saying and doing to restore balance not to hurt or get even. Now, just now, i understand that I ve been carrying quite a negative energy instead of letting it go.

So, Mrs. Takata, here I am. I surrender, I would get angry and say what I need to say, do what i need to do and restore air and balance. And in these times, one needs to find ways to restore air and balance.
